Hello, Lianochetta. In answer to your question, you are welcome to bring along your mother and sister to Wikimania. However, I must inform you that if you receive a scholarship it will be to pay for your air fare, accommodation, and registration only - not that of other people. When bookings are made, they could be done as a group, but only your portion would be reimbursed through the scholarship. In order for your sister and mother to receive a scholarship, they would have had to apply separately for one. I understand that this may present a difficulty for you, however please bear in mind that we had 1,200 applicants this year but only have enough money for about 80 full scholarships and 50 partial ones, and so we simply cannot afford to pay for scholarship recipients to bring friends and family along as well.
