Question

Hi Oarabile. Thanks for your submission. I would like clarification on one thing: are these projects happening now or do you hope to have them happen? I'm just a bit confused on if you'll be presenting about hopes and goals or about successes and metrics. Thanks! SarahStierch (talk) 20:59, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback on the Above Question

Helo SarahStierch the above proposed presentation is just a project which Wikimedia_Botswana is intending to undertake as their pilot project.Currently the project has not yet started to run due to some delays and lack of funds. This is a project i personally wanted to develop futher through making a presentation on it at Wikimania 2013 as a way of getting more ideas on how to initiate it and how to go about it, also as part of promoting GLAM in accordance with (Wiki Loves Monuments)WLM right in Botswana. As far as am well aquinted with this idea my presentation will be based on hopes and goals as we are in the initiation stage if may be granted more chance and support, other than that i cant talk of successes and metrics of it because we have not yet started running the project yet.In other words we are still at an infant stage of our project but am glad to say i have made a research about collaborating the existing GLAM Institutions in Botswana and (Ministry of Education)MOE in supporting students to have access to GLAM institutions (for educational purposes) hence promoting active editing through their gained knowledge in Wiki African Articles/the entire encyclopedia. It is indeed a project of value if well assessed to both students, the Ministry and the foundation at large.Thank you for asking and please comments are accepted and advices, looking forward to hear more from you.

Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate it :) SarahStierch (talk) 19:17, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
