(*1972, Frankfurt/Main, Germany) studied political science, international relations and macroeconomics, working in IT&Web-Business since the late 90s, founded two start-ups. Between 2000-2003 he produced several media projects in the fields of education, culture and art. Since 2007 consulting companies, institutions and people in the digital transition in economics, civil society and politics. As an exploratory webactivist he focus on questions of the public sphere in the digital age, the definition of an open digital civil society and its pratical politics and culture. Fellow of the Institute of Media and Communication Policy Berlin. Member of the Board of Wikimedia Germany.

Lehre an verschiedenen Universitäten und halte Vorträge in den Bereichen Medienwissenschaften, Journalismus sowie gesellschaftlicher Wandel durch digitale Technologien und Politische Theorie. Als Netzaktivist agiere ich schwerpunktmässig in den Bereichen Offenheit und Kollaboration. OpenData, OpenGov, Digital Public Sphere und der Förderung digital emanzipierter und aufgeklärter Zivilgesellschaft. Fellow des Instituts für Medien- und Kommunikationspolitik. Mitglied im Präsidium der Wikimedia Deutschland e.V.
