  • Good question. Has anyone investigated adding ORCIDs to name records in Wikidata? I don't know how easily findable ORCIDs are, or how much overlap there might be between the researcher pool that has them and the pool of notable to semi-notable names that are in Wikidata as a result of harvesting Wikipedia articles. -- Phoebe (talk) 23:07, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • ORCIDs are a subset of ISNIs which are already approved on Wikidata. Whether there will be a mass import is still remains to be seen, but there is definitely the infrastructure in place. Maximilianklein (talk) 05:15, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
