- Abstract
Taipei Writing Camp is held every second Saturday. It’s a help desk for new comers calling for help, bootcamp of new Wikipedia editors. When the relaunch of Taipei Biweekly Meetup in 2010, the info on notice systems attract many people, but due to the communities topic, new commers can’t get into it. Belong to Global South, the particpate rate of contributing is much lower compare to Eurpean Country and USA. It’s hard for Taiwanese doing things for nothing and few want to learn how to edit. The communities in Taipei decide to slipt meetup into two: one for communities meetup, one for new commer writing camp.In these section, In writing camp, the experienced editor tutoral the new comer, who face trouble like reverted of editing or edit war, and guide them how to follow the rules of Wikipedia. I want to review the one year experienc of Taipie Writing Camp. Analysis of what we have done, and want we can do in the future.
