Abstract
  • Over the past years the Wikimedia community has been engaged in a discussion about how to be more efficient in term of funding across the movement. Who better than the local Wikimedia actors can conduct field projects and manage them from optimal way? In the same way, who better than local players know the local tax regulations, local ways of financing for these projects? It is now important to diversify and adapt its project funding based on local actors and developing a close relationship with them.
