Michelle Lai (User:Mi.yclai) is currently the Media and Global Engagement Officer of Wikimania 2013 Hong Kong Organising Team, and the Administrative Assistant of Wikimedia Hong Kong.

Being born and raised in Hong Kong, she has spent most of her life there, before moving to Europe to further her studies. She is currently reading Political Science with a History major and specialising in Europe-Asia Relation at Campus du Havre, Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris. Prior to coming to France, she has lived in Bosnia-Herzegovina for 2 years to complete her matriculation at United World College in Mostar. In the coming fall, she will be attending IE University with a Communication major as her Troixième Année/ ERASMUS programme, as part of her 5-year Bologna degree.
