Hello, I am Christopher T Cooper (CT Cooper), a planned attendee of Wikimania 2013. I am primarily active on the English Wikipedia and on Wikimedia Commons. This will be my second Wikimania after previously attending Wikimania 2011. For this conference, my submission is "Wikipedia and school articles: Building a consensus after years of conflict". I'm also serving on the Scholarship Committee, which reviews and assesses scholarship applications.
My current plans include attendance of all five days of the conference, plus five free days in Hong Kong to visit areas of interest and to collect photographs for educational use. To make the trip affordable, I booked to travel with Turkish Airlines via Istanbul, which was significantly cheaper than a direct flight from London to Hong Kong, and will allow me to do a two day stop over to collect even more material.

I was originally planning to submit two to three submissions on various topics. However, due to other commitments I instead decided to put my energy into one submission - this being "Wikipedia and school articles: Building a consensus after years of conflict", which is currently under review. If the submission is not accepted, there will be plenty of other activities I can put my energy into to!
